I have spent the past few months doing research, studing up on KY municipal law and talking to local citizens about issues and concerns they have. I will be happy to have dialogue with your readers whenever you or they want to start the discussions. I will alert you that I have several obligations in the next few weeks and may not be available to answer questions immediately. But as always, remember to VOTE SMART! |

Why cant Richmond have something like this
October Court Day at Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, is a mad melee of people and livestock gathered together for purposes of doing business. That business may range from the purchase of a coon dog to a winter's supply of sorghum molasses; from trading guns, knives or horses to just milling elbow to elbow with the thousands of curious sightseers who come to Mt. Sterling to see what Court Day is all about. Or This World Chicken Festival Like they have in london Ky. I just dont understand this Town i mean even little Irvine has there mushroom festival its crazy a littl town like that has there act together and makes lots and lots of money for there community by have something like this Richmond has Free Summer Concerts close down Main street and have it on an friday and saturday night with vendors but get someone to sing worth listening to my god have you been to one of these things and for the Richmond Pottery Festival - Kids Fest close downtown streets off and have the whole thing down there both days of it with the car show why split it up by having the car show downtown and the other stuff a mile away at irvine mcd park on lancaster have it all downtown and come up with something else to have down there like a court days or something that last for 3 days will draw people here and make them wanna stay and spend money you know little beattyville Ky in Lee County has a wooly worm fest there. WHY CAN WE DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT HERE. Just remember when you vote this time we need change!!!! |
