Seems that there is an alternate reason that you would jump to such a remark inthenew. While the fact remains that everyone remembers and with just cause what trouble Waco Volunteer Fire got into, and that was just not one person, it was several. Waco developed a real bad reputation. This would be one of your volunteer fire departments that would run rescue, think about it. ENGAGE BRAIN, OPEN MOUTH, in that order.

Arrest made following burglary of Big Al's Diner An employee of Big Al's Diner was jailed after police say he may have played a role in the burglary of the Richmond eatery between Tuesday and early Wednesday. Police said at approximately 7:45 a.m. the Richmond police were summoned to Big Al’s Diner at 398 North Estill Avenue to investigate a reported burglary. Preliminary investigation revealed that someone had unlawfully entered the premises overnight and removed an unknown amount of cash from video game machines located in the rear of the restaurant. The perpetrator cut the padlocks off the game machines to gain access to the cash. Follow-up investigation identified Robert S. Thompson, 25, 207 Kalone Drive, Richmond, as a potential suspect, police said. He was an employee of the restaurant. After being questioned at the police department, Thompson was arrested and charged for burglary third -degree, a Class D felony. Thompson was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

Why is there a Jailer in Madison County when Thats the Job the Sheriff could be doing? How much is DeVere Paid to sit at his desk? More than the work He does I can assure You.. the Sheriffs Office already handles the Transports Why not just hand it all over and use that extra 50,000+ a year as Funding for Emergency Services :MSO Deputies and Equipment EMS Paramedics EMTs and Upkeep for their Training Vol Fire Departments and Rescue Squads training and Upkeep and Maintence on Apparatus... I feel like Im taking Crazy Pills here.. Why are We paying Such high salaries to These fat Cats for sitting in their offices doing nothing when a Madison county Firefighter makes MINIMUM WAGE! Why are We paying for Their Gas in Personal Vehicles with Official License Plates so They can drive back and Fourth to work everyday.. Does Somebody Pay for Your Gas so You can drive back and Fourth to work? Man that would sure leave me with some extra Cash at the end of the Pay week.. We need to realize that These People Work for us .. not the other way around.. We are the Ones that PUT THEM WHERE THEY ARE!.. And Think about this.. How much is Gas a gallon now? You cant even afford to take Your Minivan to Kroger to get a Gallon of Milk for Your Family but The Fat Cats of the Corn Bread Mafia are out there at Gibson Bay playing Golf.. ON YOUR TAB! Id like to see Everybody thrown out of office with the exception of James Corneilson and Sheriff Nelson O Donnel .. and lets get some new Uncorrupted uncorruptable blood in office and lets Get Madison County out of the Dark ages and into the Right direction... More Funding for the Volunteer Fire Departments would be a great start.. Million Dollar Homes being protected by Departments that have to scrape to get by?? does that seem Safe ?? Judge Executives getting DUI Charges and slaps on the wrists? Is this the kind of Example We want to show for our Kids? and the City of Richmond is just smiling their little smug smiles.. They want to see Madison County Screw up.. They want to keep annexing out.. so pretty soon Its going to be Richmond Madison County Urban Government and We get to have the same problems thats happening in Lexington.. Dig in Your heels Madison County.. Just because " We've been doing it this way for umpteen hundred Years" Does not mean that its the right way.. just because a Politician is part of the Cornbread Mafia... and a member of the Boys club does not mean he or she is doing a good job Example.. Sheriff Dude Cochran.. You realize We sometimes only had ONE Deputy to patrol an entire COUNTY???!!! makes ya feel real safe at night dont it? Not to mention ALL The money Madison County is wasting.. Trailers that contain traffic control stuff that have never even had the first mile put on the tires.. A Joint Information Center that sits empty on Keeneland Drive 24/7 with HVAC still running.. how much is that costing Residents? All the While The Sheriffs Office isnt able to put Gas in its Cruisers or Hire more Deputies to keep YOUR Streets and Roads safe at night.. and Speaking of Roads.. Is it just Me or can Anybody else stand waist deep in the Potholes around the County.. Get new blood folks.. I dont want to live in Richmond madison Urban County Government!!! Iron Valor
