For Steve Connelly:
Mayor you said in an earlier question about the budget that all employees were getting a 3.5% across the board raise this year and we did not. I myself only got a 3% and there were others that got a 4% raise. Can you tell me what happened and why you tell the citizens of Berea one thing and do something different. If you decided on 3.5% how can that be changed? We are already practically losing our raise this year due to the increase of the city's insurance costs and now we find out we are getting even less!! Just so you know after July 1st my pay check will be decreasing and the cost of living for me will increase. How do you expect people to live like this. Do you think we will stay and work here when we make less and less every year?? I would really like some kind of explanation for this and I know the citizens of Berea who voted you into this position would like to know the answer too since all your police officers are leaving due to your fine pay scale!! Thanks for highly paid time.
