Mayor Connelly, I have heard the reason for closing the melody, glades road connector, was two fold. one reason given was that people used it to by pass the stop light at glades road and U.S. 25. creating a dangerous situation in the residential neighborhood. And the other reason was because of the heavy traffic in the area, the road was being damaged, and when Mister Duerson asked for the city to repair the street the city refused, leading to Mister Duerson to pay the expense out of pocket, and that is why the street was closed by Mister Duerson. Can you provide the reason why the road was closed? or are you just speculating on the reason?
