Mr. mayor---The very expensive wheels on my car where bent by a unmarked ditch through the middle of 595 near the exit. The ditch was unmarked and very, very deep. The construction company is not marking any of the holes in the highway in that area or mayde rd. I was doing less than 15 mph....but the ditch was so severe it still damaged my wheels. Who can I expect to compensate me to have the wheels repaired or replaced...the city, state or construction company? Any help is appreciated!

Mayor, I was just wondering if the is the baseball/softball field area a non smoking area or not. If it is a non smoking area who enforces the policy. Also as for the fields is there anyway we can have our concrete FIELDS worked up to where they have some loose dirt around the base pads so that the players are not getting injured when sliding. The fields look good but there's more than just dragging the field when it comes to maintaning a field.

Mayor I would like to know why you do not tell some of these extreme groups to bug off. (citizens for the comonwealth and such) if they are so dissatisfied with our town's water, eletric and sewer rates should they not dig a well and provide their own water, buy batteries for their solar panels to store electric that is generated to use when there is no sun so they could be independent of the city altogether. If we listened to them we would still be driving horses and buggies and reading by candel light. How do they think the city pays for all of the things they bitch about (share the roads signs, bike paths, trees, sidewalks, roads, fire protection, police protection, trash pickup, yard waste pickup, speed hump, stop signs, help with thier fairs ie: rain barrel festival. Mayor for once listen to the silent majorty, we like what we have and do not compalain at the drop of the hat at each and everything that happens in Berea. Stand up and be heard. Tell them to bug off and get life, go to work at a real job that is not paid for by grants and funds from state and federal goverment.

Mr Mayor, is parking on the South side of the 700 block of West Jefferson Street prohibited? It does not have a yellow curb nor are "No Parking" signs posted. At about 11:00 am Saturday I saw a Berea Police officer stop in the middle of West Jefferson, bluelight flashing, and instruct a lady who had parked legally on the South side to move from the road. She was parked nice and tight against the curb, straight as an arrow. She was headed to a yard sale, which the last time I checked, she had the right to do according to the Constitution of the United States of America. Traffic was unaffected by the lady's actions, but was held up by the officer's actions. What's up with that?
