Richmond Police Investigate Armed Home Invasion

Richmond Police Investigating a Home Invasion
One person received injuries Thursday morning during a home invasion in the area of Maplehill Drive.
The victim stated that around 04:20am - 04:30 am, a female rang the doorbell and used a name of a person the victim knew. Said victim opened the door and was charged by three male black suspects and the woman.
The suspects took the victim's 13 year-old and sat him down while they struck his father in the head with the weapons. All three were armed, except the female. One black male had a purple ski mask and one suspect had black and red clothes on. All of the suspects were wearing ski masks, except for the black female.
One of the suspects had a shotgun and the other two had pistols, along with a .45 caliber automatic. The suspect with the .45 fired one round into the kitchen wall. The suspects grabbed a undisclosed amount of money from the victim and then fled. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
