• Pregnant women
• Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
• Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
• All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
o Children from 6 months through 18 years of age
o Young adults 19 through 24 years of age
• Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
Both injections and intranasal (fluMist) vaccine will be available on the 14th. “We encourage those people in the target categories who are healthy and between the ages of 2 and 49 years to strongly consider taking the intranasal vaccine so that we can conserve injections for those who need them the most,” stated James Rousey, Public Health Director.
