RPD: Woman Assaults Police During Custody Dispute

RICHMOND - A Richmond woman was arrested after police say a custody dispute turned violent.
On Tuesday, police arrested Tina L. Woods, age 39, Bradbury Pointe, after she assaulted a police officer and another party during a custody dispute, according to reports.
At approximately 4:00 P.M., an officer accompanied a third party to Woods’ residence to resolve a custody dispute. While at the residence, Woods attacked the third party, police said. When the officer intervened, Woods struck him in the face. Woods was lodged in the MCDC, charged with the following offenses:
- Assault 4th Degree
- Assault 3rd Degree (On police officer)
- Wanton Endangerment
- Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree

Theft from Vehicle: On 11/02/2009, a resident in the 400 block of Smith Village reported that a money order in the amount of $298 had been stolen from her vehicle and cashed at a local business.
Theft: On 11/02/2009, the owner of Central Kentucky Mobile Homes, 1951 Irvine Road, reported that an Intertherm air conditioning unit and a Generac brand generator were stolen from his property over the weekend. The items were located between two mobile homes parked on the property. Estimated loss: $1,650.
