A man was found passed out behind the wheel Tuesday in possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Department.

On Tuesday at approximately 4:30 a.m., Deputy Stacey Cummins received a complaint of an unresponsive person in a vehicle on Wilson Lane.

When Deputy Cummins arrived, he found a male subject, later identified as Kenneth Breedlove, parked in the middle of Wilson Lane with a needle in his lap along with a plastic spoon containing water and a filter, according to police.

When Breedlove was awakened, he stated that he had snorted Percocet and “shot up” Heroin. After a search of the vehicle, a substance believed to be Heroin was recovered, police said.

Kenneth Breedlove was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Berea for treatment and later lodged in the Madison County Detention Center charged with DUI, no registration plates, no insurance, and possession of a controlled substance first degree.
