Upon arrival, officers found that the suspicious persons had already left the area. However, as Officer Devin Thomas was leaving the subdivision, he observed a vehicle occupied by two males traveling on Four Mile Road without headlights.

It was further learned that the residence on Cobble Drive had been broken into and the vehicle keys obtained from inside the house.

Shortly thereafter, police received a tip from a citizen indicating that one of the males was hiding in some bushes on Mallory Court.
