Our police force recently had (?) to destroy two steers that escaped the William's farm. Several years ago, a buffalo belonging to a farm on Arrowhead Drive was destroyed in a foiled escape. I think these were the last two times a Berea Police officer discharged his weapon on duty. In light of all the greenspace we have in the Berea and due to the fact we try to be good stewards of the environment here, should't we have tranquilizer guns and train our officers to use such devices. I'm sure Mr. Williams and Mr. Isaacs, owners of the dead livestock would agree.

That sounds like a rasonable request. However, I have been told that such a simple soultion is really more complicated than many would think in its implementation.
