What is the plan for the park? I would hope there is a plan. What will the $1.8 million be spent on? Will there be a skate board park, soccer field, baseball field or what?

Most certainly we have a plan. You are welcome to see both the map depiction and the schematics. In summary, the scaled-back plan consists of: a) a 10' lighted, shared-use trail connecting North Broadway to Ky 595 north of Berea Community School; b) a lighted, full-size soccer field; c) youth-league football fileds, also serving as Berea Community School practice field; d) a new play ground and concession stand; e) paved parking lots; f) skateboard pad and basketball court; g) muti-purpose open space; and h)renovation of old concession stand. As a separate project, the city will re-work the current field 5 for youth baseball.
