Mayor im an employee of the city and i was at the city council metting this past week. Looks like its nothing more that a social gathering for the members. There was no talk of real issues with our goverment or police and fire's Haz Duty Problem. As an employee if i was to bring it to the table at the next metting would i be the target of Retaliation?

You have my promise that you will suffer no retailiation for asking the city to re-consider hazardous retirement. In fact, I was surprised that no one attended to raise the issue.

If the question is raised, I will ask both the personnel and finance committee to investigate and discuss the question from the perspective of the particular committe and to make recommendations to the full council. All such meetings are open to the public and you will be welcome to attend and comment at the appropriate time. I urge you to bring it up.
